Student Life

SHA believes that it is important to nurture the mind, body and spirit of each student through a rich array of experiences – both in and out of the classroom. These are designed by the SHA staff to enhance student learning, improve parental communication and encourage family and community involvement.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in out-of-classroom activities such as:

  • Athletics
  • Tzedeka
  • SHAvua Tov! , M.S. Shabbaton and MaTan Jewish learning programs
  • After School Programs
  • Gym and Music
  • Weekly SHAbbat Sing-A-Long for our Early Childhood
  • Weekly Assembly for the Lower School led by the 5th Grade
  • Weekly Assembly for the Middle School featuring M.S. News
  • Outdoor education for 5th graders held at IslandWood on Bainbridge Island, WA
  • 8th Grade Israel Trip
  • Spirit Days
